"Look at the priorities of the new Republican congressional" - Robert Reich (Facebook rant)

I luvs me some Robert Reich!

Look at the priorities of the new Republican congressional – the Keystone XL Pipeline, the Trans-Pacific Trade agreement, tax cuts for big corporations and the wealthy, rollbacks of Dodd-Frank regulations on Wall Street, cutbacks on Medicare and Medicaid and Social Security, and decimating the Affordable Care Act – and connect the dots. Republicans want the public to think the central issue of our time is the size of government. Wrong. The central issue of our time is who government is for. Every one of their initiatives advances big corporations and Wall Street, and worsens or weakens everyone else.

Elizabeth Warren is correct: The game is rigged. And the only way to unrig it is through a new progressive movement that includes not only the Democratic base but also any and all Independents and Republicans equally determined to take the economy and democracy back from the axis of Wall Street, K Street, and big corporations. Can we rely on the Democratic Party to lead the way, or will a new third party be necessary?

Some say the parties are all the same..

Some say there isn't anything in it for them.

The same now say we need a new movement...okay...but sitting out elections isn't going to get you there. From the state house to the White House it needs to be a movement. Your not going to get there when the votes are rigged (gerrymandered to death).

Yeah it is rigged.

Some will be back complaining soon, and others will expound us with fantasy politics.

Buckle your seats because the next 2 years are going to be rough.

As the v-pen is used and override whipping begins, we'll be able to expose what the Third Way folks are all about.

On the flip-side, it will be fascinating to see left and right come together, albeit for mostly different reasons, in attempt to block the TPP fast track.

It's like criminalizing the sex act itself and punishing people for life over one mistake. Fundamental extremists just want power and control over anyone so they have an element they can subjugate and abuse.

Just like those countries that are criminalizing homosexuality. I think, why? All I can fathom is they need a whipping boy to punish, through no fault of their own. Some class distinction to separate the masses and instill fear and violence. To me it's private business in both matters. Small government my ass

Maybe it's just all part and parcel of this brave new world?

A class of "wage slaves" and less?

( Less abortion on demand equals more unwanted hungry human beings for the Haliburton/Raytheon war machine.)

I loved "Inequality for All".

Oh, Dear Goddess, it was good!

24,000 children around the world are getting killed by poverty and hunger everyday.

And the rich think poor people have it all good.

their dinner plates. Some would confess during the counseling therapy that caused some of therapists to quit their firms in NYC and Chicago due to excessive stress from counseling the rich. Therapists alleged that the rich men and women laughed about the pilight of poor people and their crumbling infrastructure and needs to survive. It makes me sick. Rich people is killing this world and our children.

I know I might sound silly about having this thought earlier today, I practically wished that empathetic-filled extraterrestrial would come to here and pick up all of children and young adults from every corners of the world, include two of mine, and take them to the new world, raise them all to be equal and free from religious, persecution, and radicals while sertilize entire adults on this world so we all can die on our own and allow Earth to thrive on its own.

That is how mad I really am with this plutocracy and oligarchy world.

All those dead people from drinking the Kool-aid.

It wouldn't matter if we staged a die-in and all staved to death on the spot we sat down on. It would only be a problem to them to remove our skeletal remains. The 1% would send the carcass removal bill to our grieving families. They do hate and fear the poor.

And they think they are our betters.

Yes. We should leave a mess for them to clean up.
