I think if you are a wealthy senior you probably have private insurance and don't use Medicare part B.
I think the term wealthy seniors is thrown around without really being challenged.

I do not have a problem with this at all. She was probably paying $335.00/month for Part B.

She paid into the system and she used what she paid for. She was likely un-insurable otherwise. Just because she was likely "rich" does not mean that she was not entitled to get what she paid for damn it!

I have a far bigger problem with people on Medicare and Social Security that have never paid a penny into any of it and they collect, collect and collect.

Fuck this means testing shit. Fuck it!!

beneficiaries"

First the "means testing", it is not made clear in the link what the amount is"

Second, they are already doing "means testing", and charging higher premiums for those who make "too much"

But they are also changing Plan F and C so you have to make co pays so you DON't go to the doctor. Their words not mine. So you get sicker from not going to the doctor and then they really pay more.

Fixed income is fixed income period. Not sure where the extra money comes from.

14. Really? The President, Our Parties Leader, Considers Anyone Making Over $250,000 A Year As Wealthy..

It's absurd to even consider the 'little guy' as someone who has an annual net income of between $250,000-$500,000 a year.

My family is a prime example of 'the little guy(s). My Mother is a lifelong factory worker that goes to work every single day on the premise and the promise that through her continued hard work & dedication, that her tomorrow's will always be better than her yesterday's.

My father, a lifelong truck driver is a man of character and integrity. like my Mother is hard work and the sacrifices of being away from his family for long periods of time are justified because he wants to ensure that his children have the opportunities that he was not fortunate enough to have growing up in a single parent household.

To me, to The President and to the Democratic Party, these are the people we fight for. We fight for the single mom in Ohio who has to choose between putting food in the cabinets or paying her electric bill. We fight for the parents who go to bed every night wondering how they'll be able to afford to send their children to College. We fight for the family who now owes more on their house than it is worth, we are fighting to keep millions of families in their homes by allowing them to renegotiate their mortgages as well as their interest rates.

Let me be absolutely clear, I am not nieve. I understand that there are policies & programs that many progressive Democrats, such as my self, do not agree with. The President has made policies, programs and principles that much to our dismay he has not been able to implement.

However at the end of the day I can say with confidence that President Obama is in fact fighting for us. 60 consecutive months of private sector job growth. Unemployment down to 5.5%. He appointed two extremely qualifed women to the Supreme Court. The President & his administration captured and killed Osama Bin Laden, the individual actually responsible for 9/11.The President expanded health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, and because of that 14 million Americans now have quality, affordable healthcare in which they can access free preventive care & more importantly, No one can ever again be turned down due to a preexisting condition.

If We Want to keep a Democrat in the White House in 2016 we need to come together as one united Democratic Party, have a vigorous primary, yet in the end even if your Candidate is not the Nominee, We The People of the Democratic Party MUST come together as one United Party to ensure a Democrat is the 45th President Of These United States, United We Stand, Divided We Fall!

I'll pay a higher premium, deductible and co-pay for medicare with not one gripe

when they decide to;

make the family with 5 kids all on medicaid and she pays No premium, deductible or co-pay while her
live-in shackup parties every day as she goes shopping in a 1 year old vehicle I could never dream to own.

Medicare collects a premium, deductible and co-pays from every participant

Medicaid with One application can cover a family of any size for freaking free

Make it equal and i'll pay more without a whine

That's like saying Obama wants Americans to pay higher taxes because he wants the wealthy to pay their fair share.
