Desperate Bernie Sanders detractors have reached a new low

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by TexasTowelie (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

Now they are stooping to posting ugly outright lies with no sources no link, just vitriol
...apparently hoping something will stick, and that DU will spread the lie.

I totally thought DU was better than this.

1. Not really anything new. Those sorts of attacks have been around since before he announced. nt

3. Here is a link for you

From the Slate article.
Bernie Sanders, Gun Nut
When Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders jumped into the 2016 presidential race, he was widely hailed as a far-left socialist who would appeal to the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. A liberal challenge to Hillary Clinton, said Politico. True progressives’ liberal alternative, trumpeted FiveThirtyEight. But before liberal Democrats flock to Sanders, they should remember that the Vermont senator stands firmly to Clinton’s right on one issue of overwhelming importance to the Democratic base: gun control. During his time in Congress, Sanders opposed several moderate gun control bills. He also supported the most odious NRA–backed law in recent memory—one that may block Sandy Hook families from winning a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the gun used to massacre their children.

4. Let them embarrass themselves.

There was yet another race-baiting post in GD that was nearly as bad. We all know what they're up to.

Funny how it suddenly became sleazier in here on the heels of this news:

Poll finds Sanders in statistical tie with Clinton in New Hampshire
