Hillary, then say hello to Scott Walker" thing. At least the meme has changed a bit, we used to be threatened with saying hi to President Cruz.
Sounds so much more authentic, coming from someone who says they bet on things for a living.
Nah.

Ninety-two percent.

That's how many Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents in a new NBC-Wall Street Journal poll said they could see themselves supporting Hillary Clinton for the party's nomination in 2016, a stark sign of how little genuine resistance there is within the party to the idea of the former secretary of state as the nominee.

Real liberals also recognize that Obama is the most consequential progressive president since LBJ at least, and possibly since FDR.

People who are prepared to hand over the presidency and the Supreme Court to the GOP are not "real liberals."

17. ACA was the most significant social legislation in a generation.
Wed Jul 1, 2015, 08:42 AM
Jul 2015

A lot of people now have health insurance who previously didn't, and the growth rate of health care costs has slowed. By any measure it's a huge, and yes, progressive accomplishment, and it's bizarre that supposed progressives want to ignore the millions of people who have benefited greatly from ACA just because the urge to bash Obama is so strong.

He also raised taxes on the wealthy, and passed the most significant financial regulations since FDR. He saved the auto industry, averted a second great depression. He took aggressive executive actions on the environment and immigration.

And, of course, he would have done a lot more if he hadn't been hampered by a Republican congress through most of his presidency, a problem that FDR didn't have. His calls for raising the minimum wage, infrastructure and jobs spending, comprehensive immigration reform, gun control, etc. have all been killed by the GOP.

The real concern is that people who belong to DU want to ignore all that and pretend that he's some kind of Republican-lite.
