That songs runs deep into my soul, always has from the time I was a kid and got to meet Pete Seeger on the hudson Clearwater river sloop.

I moved to the hudson VAlley in the late 1970's and it was a few years after that that we had a field trip to go on the clearwater. I was really young and Mr. Seeger was just a boat guy with a guitar.

...Martin seems to be making the best of that opportunity, out of all of the Democratic candidates; likely a consequence of his smaller crowds, but not out of character for my former guv.

...they would play Irish ballads on Sunday afternoon, right after the bluegrass hour, and I'd jam along with my guitar.

Music that's very much embedded in my heart and soul.
