Tuesday, June 12 - VOTE against George Allen

June 12 is a primary election in the Old Dominion. As with all Virginia elections, everyone who is registered can vote.

The ballot is different in different areas.
One thing that is consistent throughout the Commonwealth is that GEORGE ALLEN is running in the Republican primary.
GEORGE ALLEN is the guy who called the UVA student Macacca.

GEORGE ALLEN is the guy who kept a Confederate flag and a hangman's noose in his office as Governor.
GEORGE ALLEN is from California. The flag is not a symbol of heritage to him - it's not like he had ancestors who lived under that flag.
GEORGE ALLEN is not his father. This GEORGE ALLEN did NOT coach the Redskins.

GEORGE ALLEN marched in lock step with George Bush the last time he was senator. He helped destroy the economy by supporting every single one of Bush's bills.

GET OUT THERE AND VOTE! -- YES, YOU!
Vote against George Allen in the Republican primary then, maybe we will be rid of him.

If it rains, your vote counts more because of a lower turnout.

(please keep this thread kicked for the election)

If you vote for the candidate you consider weaker, you might end up with that candidate winning in November and we could end up even worse.

In my opinion, NO ONE could be worse than George Allen.

The November race is expected to be between:
former Governor and former DNC head and all around good guy Tim Kane
VS.
former Governor and former Senator and evil 1%er George Allen.

All the polls I see have them neck and neck.

I personally like Tim Kane and really want him to win, but would rather have ANYONE over George Allen.
Allen's opponent in the primary is a more moderate Jaime Somebody-I've-Never-Heard-Of.

People vote for names they know, even if it isn't the person they think they are voting for.
Allen is helped by his father's famous name. If his name was Jeff Allen, he wouldn't have that kind of advantage.

That man should never ever be elected to anything.
I wouldn't trust him with the job of dogcatcher.

He should never be put in any position where he can have power over anyone. -- Not even a manager at a fast food place. He sounds like he abuses everything he touches.
