Ol Bernie Sanders For President

I found this black perspective on Bernie Sanders to be most encouraging, and hope some others here will as well. I believe that a significant percentage of black voters and many POC will ultimately choose him as their candidate.

Don’t let his looks fool you. He may be a white Jew, but he gets the black community. He understands. He knows what we’ve been through. He’s been a voice for us all. He’s fought for us against the establishment since the 1960s. It is time for us to return the favor.

Bernie should be the ONLY CANDIDATE that the black community stands behind. He is HONEST. He has a proven track record. He always do what he say, and says what he do. Tell all your family and friends to vote for BERNIE.

Don’t trust Hillary. She just a snake in the grass. Say or do whatever to get what she wants. Bernie has never broken a promise or done something against what he said he would do. Hillary has many times. Don’t take my word for it, look up her history. We don’t need no more Clintons (or Bushes) as president. We need BERNIE. He will make jobs, he will fix health care, he will make sure the rich get taxed, he will help our kids to go to college for free, he will fix America’s problems. Americans, and especially Black Americans, will PROSPER with BERNIE.

7. Not surprised, there are now so many minority 'groups for Bernie' on Social Media now

it's hard to keep up with all of them.

As people get to know him, they know he is sincere.

Also, he has some great people who know his record and who are getting together to support him. Eg, Killer Mike has connected with BlackWomenForBernie on Social Media.

I guess AAs are sick to death of the negative campaigners speaking for them and are joining forces with other groups to make THEIR voices heard.

And finally, while you say Bernie doesn’t have any people skills, he’s drawing more people at his appearances than any politician in America. The reason for that is, the people feel him. Most people don’t feel Hillary. Many people only support her because she has name recognition, and they feel like “it’s her turn.” I don’t feel that way. I feel like it’s MY tern.
