Wacko Republican of the Week = Krayton Kearns, the Conservative Cow Doctor

Albeit, Krayton is in the running for Delusionist of the Year too

Psychologists everywhere are intrigued by how the human mind can make such "Buffalo Jump" leaps of reason over the precipice of rationality into the void of pure bison dung.

Step One: Walt Disney's personification of animals allowed activists to gift Bambi rights equal to those endowed us by our Creator.....

And it just gets better .... "a four step process to crush the republic and bring our populace into perfect dependence on big government -- just as Karl Marx dreamed."

1. I would not want this cretin as my vet, let alone as my congress critter.

His logic is nuts. Moving bison in one area of Montana is going to lead to $25 a gallon gas? Does he know how stupid that sounds?

Most vets I know show compassion for animals whether domesticated or wild.

How is it that a nut like this is even given a column anywhere at all?

let alone elective office.

BTW, this idiot probably has rabies himself. That must explain the collective insanity of the teahadists.

"Draconian cuts in funding for mental health services were undertaken throughout the 1980s, with the overall number of beds available to the mentally ill in public and private hospitals dropping over forty percent between 1970 and 1984. And now those former patients are state legislators."

Every week, the veterinarian and most conservative member of the state house issues forth a Platonically-perfect rant for FREEDOM predicated on the premise that, "Liberalism is a disease from which you can be cured. Trust me, I'm a doctor!"

4. Why give voice to this crazy.

Don't give him exposure to this group allowing some to agree with him.
Talk about our candidates and their record and positions.

7. To understand the voters in Montana, maybe, and for sure so the voters in Montana know

and understand their candidates and why to support them.

You forget, politics is about choices, and the informed citizen makes better choices.

Don't you know that closing oneself off to other views and putting on blinders is the first act of conservatism, not liberalism.

And besides, find me just one person on all of DU that agrees with him and I'll move to Costa Rica in four years
