Gallup - Obama (+4) one week after the Health Care aftermath

So, after all the hullabaloo of the past week, it doesn't look like there has been any major change yet, at least not according to this pollster.

Obama is basically where he was. He hasn't gained support, but he hasn't fallen off the cliff either.

Obama = 48%

Romney = 44%

Ruling came out on 6/28, so there's still a day (eg. 6/27) of pre-Supreme Court polling, but when tomorrow's tracking poll is out, it will be all post 6/28.

6/27 - 7/3

Saturday, July 07

A mixed back today. Obama went from a (+4) lead in Gallup down to a (+2) lead.

On the other hand, he went from being (-2) in Rasmussen to a TIE.

Rasmussen also gives him 50% approval to Gallup's 47%.

Gallup Tracking [Obama +2]

Obama - 47

Romney - 45

.

Rasmussen Tracking [Tie]

Obama - 45

Romney - 45

had something like this come up with Bush, it would have been universally hailed a BIG BUSH WIN and CRUSHING DEFEAT for the Dems.

The USA TODAY had two articles on the ruling two days after.

One was "Rs predict HC ruling will help cause in the fall" or something along those lines.

The other, an op ed by some DLC type in "Dems need to be careful about gloating over HCR ruling."

The "liberal media' VERY effectively took what was a MASSIVE win for this president (and country) and turned it into a pile of shiite for the president and good news for the jerkoffs who lost.

I was overjoyed with the decision but concerned that there would be some major blowback in the polls. Very happy to see that is not the case. I really can't believe 44% of this country supports Romney!
