I seriously doubt it, but I sure do hope so.

Wayne Powell is challenging Larry - I mean, Eric Can'tor this November. http://www.powellforva.com/about-wayne/

The beautiful and sensual Madeleine Stowe is campaigning for him!

Let's hope he beats him!

Nothing like a pissed off blowhard to gather a crowd..
spouting off all manner of crap, but to Joe Average.. it strikes a nerve.
And he thinks to himself: "That politician is just like me! HE thinks like me!"
And Thus feeling a kinship...
he votes for the knucklehead!

And thus.. here we are.
Looney Tunes running the show.

I know a dear elderly lady who loved W.
She would tell me: "That President Bush always just makes me laugh!"
Like he was one of her grandchildren!
And the troubles?
She'd shake her head and say: "That poor man has all those advisors
doing the work behind the scenes; I'm sure he doesn't know what
antics they are up to. But I know a good man when I see one!"

The Duped reign supreme!

"And dear... don't you go criticizing those wonderful public servants!
You have no idea how hard their work is!
And they have my best interests at heart!
They know who's trying to pick the pockets of the vulnerable taxpayer!
And I don't like my tax money going to cheaters and losers!"

So we live in a cartoon Bizarro World!

I am not worried about this election. I don't think any amount of voter fraud could swing it in Romney's favor. The man is a total joke.

Did you know that they're trying to hide Romney? He won't even do an honest interview where the interviewer can ask honest questions. He is such an abomination, in terms of how he communicates-- and also his current stances, former stances and mind-blowing flip flops are a laughing stock.

So, they're hiding Romney. See him do any interviews lately?

Do you know how I know this little tidbit? I heart it on Glenn Beck. They were making fun of Mitt Romney on Thursday, during Beck's radio program. They did a comedy bit, with Romney's voice represented by the "Waaa Waaa Waaa" sound you hear from Charlie Brown's teacher. They were making total fun of Romney's lack of honest interviews and the fact that any honest interview
would be a joke. They even highlighted Romney's flip flops on global warming.

They played actual clips of Romney saying that global warming was real and was man made. There were several of these clips. Then they laughed and asked why he now says that global warming is not real. His response..."Waaa Waaa Waaaaaa".

Ok folks...if Glenn Beck and other talk radio is developing comedy bits from Romney--how much chance does this joker really have? He doesn't play well with any Democrats, most middle-class folks and Independents. Plus, the base of the Republican party--the people who vote!!!--can't even stand him.

I'm not saying that we rest on our laurels. We should be volunteering, voting and doing whatever we can to ensure that Romney is not our next President--but I am not worried, because he is an absolute joke as a candidate. I actually feel sorry for the Republicans that this elitist nimrod is who they put forward as their base candidate.

Agree, minus a marked regression in the economy or some kind of security issue, BO is almost surely going to win a second term.

The question at hand is Senate ...

[link:http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/senate/2012_elections_senate_map.html|

As painful as it is a times, we need Nelson to hold fort in Florida.

We need Elizabeth Warren to get it done against Scott Brown.

We need Tim Kane to get it done against that lugnut Allen.

This is just to get to 50 ...

And, we need another race that is not looking great to turn around.

The House ...

Gotta cut into the margin some to keep some of the new morons from getting too entrenched.

I blame Sen. Kent Conrad of North Dakota. This selfish SOB is abandoning the Dems in a year in which incumbents like him should have stayed on to help the party keep the Senate majority. Because of him that seat is at risk of going Republican. If the Democrats lose the Senate, it will be his fault.

It will be VERY, VERY bad for BO and the country if the Ds don't get last manage a 50/50 split in the senate.

Reached the same conclusion recently. We have already have a couple of years of seeing how the obstructionist neo-GOP Congress can prevent meaningful and constructive change. They are quite willing to screw the nation for the sake of political power and they don't care who gets hurt. Telling the uninsured man to die was perfectly typical of how they think.

The problem with the OP is that Romney does NOT look like one of the three stooges. In addition to his money, Romney looks quite presidential, probably more presidential than President Obama. If he fights him one-for-one on the money and the looks, it's a bad sign.

You want three stooges? Let me nominate Allen West, Joe Walsh, and Peter King. These are colossal fools and it would take NO effort for Obama to portray them that way. I think Obama should basically turn his back on Romney and go after these LOSERS and flip their districts HARD. Two probable responses: (1) Rove will pour a flood of black money into those districts, but it will be relatively visible precisely because they are small districts, not national or even statewide races. (2) Romney is possibly stupid enough to rush to their defense, which will link him closely to the fools. In the first case, the multiplier effect may be infinite. I think these guys are such black holes that no amount of money can make them look like they deserve being in Congress. In the second case, Romney will be tainted as a loser, and much more so if they first pour lots of money into those districts and then drop them.

Here is a link to my original suggestion along these lines, as part of a general thread I started about anti-Romney advertising.

Romney LOOKS the part, that has been his appeal to them all along.

Go the Palin route - insulate him from the media as much as possible and have him run around saying whatever BS he makes up at any given time without any capacity for a media that is unwilling to confront him on his BS in the first place.

The republicans in the House are just a joke, a really bad, twisted and pathetic group of brainless twits. Mean, arrogant and they actually revel in their ignorance.
