It's Not the End of the Quarter

It's not the end of the quarter. There is no FEC report due tomorrow. There is no full moon today, nor is it Kwanzaa, St. Patrick's Day or Tisha B'av.

Why is today unlike all other days? Actually, it is like all other days. It's just another one of those days on the long, hard slog toward November 6th. Just another day when this campaign needs your help.

So please click here, and give us the help that we need.

I realize that you may not hang on our every word, but if you did, then you might have noticed that on June 30, we did not send out an end-of-the-quarter request for contributions. We maintained radio silence. You may have seen one or two requests from other campaigns. Or one or two dozen.

We didn't send you an end-of-the-quarter request because, frankly, those requests are becoming trite. And I don't want to seem trite. Or cliché. Or boring. Or even predictable.

Click here to show your support for a candidate who is . . . unpredictable.

But I do want to ask for your support today, because something important is happening in our campaign right now, today. It also happened yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that it's going to happen tomorrow. But it's still important.

Today, in Orlando's 95-degree heat, we have several dozen canvassers going door-to-door, to make sure that our voters can vote - and will vote - in November. They do it seven days a week. We are determined not to be defeated by the Republicans' voter suppression campaign. And that means that we are running the largest House field campaign that Central Florida has ever seen. Yesterday, today and (with your support) tomorrow.

So today really is like any other day: a day when we need your help. There is no deadline. There is no emergency. There is no crisis. We just need your help. Hence we ask you to please click on this link. And thank you.

Courage,

Alan Grayson
