The first senior politician to Formally Recognize OWS - is Mitt Romney.

Honestly, I don't understand this guy.

Since Occupy Wall Street,
the Dems have kept their distance

Fox and Friends tried to frame OWS
as 'Dirty unemployed' 'Elite' Neo-hippes.

and yes, Obama has started talking about Millionaires.

But ( and this is a big butt) ... here's Mitt!
The Poster Boy for everything 1%
introduces OWS into Official Politics.

'I will govern for the 99%' (!!!)

Maybe I'm on a Moon Base-
I just don't get it;
Please explain, Mitt the Shit,
How you love everyone 100%.

(BTW, I have a passion for everything Anti-Mitt.
If I am spamming Politics 2012, tell me.
I will try to lighten up)

He's just trying to co opt the message. He understands that it's a sentiment that has a wide appeal and just want to try and broaden his appeal.

For 6 months, people have heard 99% and 1%, and not all of it positive from the talking heads on TV (unemployed, unwashed hippies, etc... 1% 'create jobs, etc...)

How better to put a FACE to what the 1% is exactly about? What they are and are not doing to help the struggling economy. How their taxes (and the Bush tax cuts) separated them from the rest of society. How society is carrying their weight as they are scampering around with their 15% "dues".

I have tried and tried to explain to people IRL what the whole OWS thing is about, and for the non-politically aware, all they see is "anarchy". They agree about the generic 'money in politics' but haven't really felt in their gut as to who these people are and what they are doing that is so harmful.

His hypocracy precedes him and if polling is correct, his $57k a day (365/year) for no work is producing audible gasps from the general public.

Stapling this to Mitt's face and giving people this clear, cut, dried example of "this is what the fuck we have been trying to tell you" is like Christmas in January.

I am stunned he went there.
