The low-information 'center' can be swayed by making him look weak. Keeping him on the defensive makes him look weak. Pretty similar to what the GOP managed to do to Gore and Kerry.

Even dumb stupid shit repugs know if he won't do this then he's most likely guilty. They don't want Pres. Obama to embarrass them.

but I suspect they are better classified as right-leaning Libertarians. Regardless I still believe they are impacted by this issue.

Romney has to pull an inside straight to pull this thing out. To be clear he needs everything to go his way and things like this means he has an even smaller margin of error.

He either filed false reports to the SEC (felony) or he is lying to the American people.

seriously ...

If this was a D, yeah, it would be terminal.

An R, just more partisan politics or they all do it or Obama this or that ...

At least, that will be what the "liberal" media will portray it as.

Romney has literally had more moments that you can count at this point that would have terminated a D's political career.

Well, Gingrich has. But yeah. You can't compare local races to national races.

If this keeps up, the only people still voting for him by the time November rolls around will be the hardcore teabaggers - he'll be lucky to get 35% of the vote.

My recommendation to the Obama campaign: KEEP TWISTING THE KNIFE!!!

that should have ended his campaign by now and thanks to the "liberal" media the race remains in the same place - BO with a small, but clear lead.

What just happened last week?

President Obama won a MASSIVE victory with the SC upholding his landmark piece of legislation.

What was the pundit classes take?

Bad news for Obama, good news for the idiots who want to destroy it all costs.

This is what we will continue to see, and the addle minded population of this country buying the sad "they are the same, we have to be fair" nonsense necessary to frame a truly exceptional president as being on par with a party that is the most extreme, by far, of any this country has ever seen.

Romney could be caught beating an old lady with her cane on camera and it would be ignored/excused, while every possible contrived nonsense advanced will be BAD NEWS FOR OBAMA. This time four years ago, he was STILL having to explain why he didn't wear a friggen flag pin on his lapel ...
