2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDid anyone catch Madeline Stowe on the Ed Show?
edited to fix typoWow! She was awesome. Smart, well-informed, and a compelling speaker. She's giving a keynote address at an event to support women's causes in Virginia and spoke out against the ultrasound-before-abortion bill and the proposed contraception ban. She is a supporter of Eric Cantor's opponent, Wayne Powell.
I've seen her a few times on this silly tv series on ABC, Revenge. And now i'm wondering why an obviously smart woman is in such a ridiculous tv show. I guess they're paying her well.
Good work, Ms. Stowe!

(12,272 posts)I was in the kitchen, but could hear her. I am glad she is speaking out for women's rights and supporting Wayne Powell. I have adored her since I saw her in the movie Revenge, starring Kevin Costner and Anthony Quinn, I haven't seen the TV series by that same name.
