The reason Romney wasn't chosen by McCain may not have been just about his taxes. It could have been that he wasn't considered conservative enough for the base since Romney is from MA and McCain was already distrusted as being too 'moderate'. There may have been concerns people wouldn't vote for a Mormon, or that Romney didn't add the right geographic balance etc.

...SOMETHING made mcsame believe that freakin' palin(comparison) was BETTER than romney. WOW!

Of course, it could be that mcsame just plain ol' HATES romney!
