Black leaders and organized labor are increasingly worried that Michigan Rep. John Conyers is in danger of losing the seat he’s held for nearly five decades.
The concern: that Conyers — the second-longest-serving member of the House and a civil rights icon — is about to be caught napping in his Aug. 7 Democratic primary.
