Seems an admission that the swift-boat accusations were known to be lies, yet it got lots of air-time as statements of fact, as I recall. Now they are suggesting that statements of fact are lies.

(4,107 posts)yesterday (between the swiftboating against Kerry and the questioning of Mitt's departure from Bain). To the reporter's credit, he backtracked, saying that he didn't mean to imply that the allegations against Mitt were lies...SO, THEN WHY DID HE PUT IT OUT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?? Just trying to be even-handed, eh NPR?
