Just a word of caution: Things look good right now...

but Mitt and his big fat cat billionaire pacs haven't yet begun to spend what they ultimately are going to spend in negative ads on President Obama. Things look good and we have a strong line of attack on his Bain record and taxes, but Rmoney and company aren't licked yet.

rest easy until this election is over. I have little faith in the electorate or the process.

I knew sometime around early-summer that Bush was a substantially-better than 50/50-chance...then Gore made it closer than I expected and might have won.

Maybe it's just me but I've known by Aug. 15 who was going to win every Presidential election since 1984...and I was only born in 1979. By the conventions, it's all over in earnest unless something profoundly-big happens. Been happier with some results than others but never been surprised by the outcome.

All Kochs' and Adelson's money can't make Mitt likable (and if they're really going to try to, they need to start spending now...their boy's candidacy could be metaphorically dead by the convention...and he ain't Jesus or Lazarus.); they could blow $10B on this election but it's not going to change the outcome. It's Obama's to lose, not Romney's to win...and Obama's playing better, more aggressively than any Democrat in recent memory.

This one's over, better than 70% odds for the President. That'd be higher if Romney had announced a running mate...you can never discount a great VP nod as a game changer...but of the people in the running, none of them are going to be a big Romney gainer...and he can't go off-the-board because of the memories of Palin.

We haven't yet begun this election - there is a long way to go.

We need to fight the: "Failed stimulus", "Obamacare bad", "most divisive president" attacks first.

My biggest fear is...will they be alowed to steal this one like in 2000, we all know a trapped animal is a dangerous animal...Keeping people from voting will turn this election....If you are a person who believes in the power of prayer, join me ..
