Check Mate

You play chess with a king, a queen, 2 rooks, 2 bishops, 2 knights and 8 pawns.

If the 2012 Presidential Election is a chess match, I'd much rather be playing with Obama's pieces. I'm not sure what he actually has left but it does appear that all Romney has left to play with is his King and a few pawns stuck way in a corner of his own side of the chess board. The fact of the matter is, when reality is exposed, Mitt's positions (or lack there of) and character (and again - or lack there of) are exposed he never had 'no business' playing ever playing the game at this level.

If all holds, he has no ability capture Obama's King and very little real ability protect his King. Romney will lose this election unless Obama does something very dumb, or team Romney is allowed to cause a major distraction.

If you can run with the metaphor, Romney's really is his ability to raise vast sums of money (albeit, mostly ill-gotten) from his pawns who happen to be a small number of financially wealthy groups and organizations without attracting too much bad attention. There are also the poor crazy pawns who vote against their own interest. Unfortunately, we can not count on changing these fools. I guess the best we can do for them is just win the election.

But, please if like myself, you support Obama, there is a lot riding on this election. I do not like to imagine the world with Romney as CEO of the Free World. The world desperately needs a leader, not a corporate raider and re-branding expert that likes to play Etch a Sketch.

As a concerned American, lets make sure the "phony, two-faced, flip-flopping weasel" named Willard Mitt Romney doesn't get a chance to give the election an Etch A Sketch shake of this chess board and change the game. I guarantee he will try too. I think sane people know it would be a really bad idea for him to give Sarah Palin a vp slot. But Mitt will surely have some equivalent attempt to "game change".

My personal plea right now is to donate at https://contribute.barackobama.com/donation/index.html today.

And to all Willard Mitt Romney supporting pawns: I say "Check". Ok, maybe not "check mate" yet, but maybe "check" the score on the real news and reconsider your reality "mate".
