Tweets won't stop this. Thoughts and prayers won't, either. Only real gun reforms will stop mass shootings from occurring nearly every day.

He fought the NRA and won. One of the many reasons why I am supporting him for President. He's done what other Dems have just talked about.

That's for sure. I'm tired about hearing 'thoughts and prayers' like that's going to stop this. "Well, they think (I guess), I've addressed the situation".

For Bernie Sanders. He's young and can take over in five years. And he's right, Tweets will not stop mass murders by gun violence.

He needs to take a much stronger stance on this.
He is right. We need gun control reform, and every candidate running on the democratic ticket should be addressing this.

September 14, 2015 -- For far too long, Democrats have been too afraid to stand up to the gun lobby.
It's time for that to change. If I am elected president, I will make reducing and preventing gun violence one of my 15 goals to rebuild the American dream. And right now, I am putting forward a comprehensive policy plan for cutting deaths from gun violence in half -- homicides, suicides, and accidents -- within 10 years.
