A Peoples President.

Have we ever had one? I can say that my hopes for someone who truly represents and champions the people were initially invested in President Barack Obama. I know that some see the president as a president of the people and to that view they are entitled. For many of us who see more of the same, and even while giving credit where credit is due, are we still waiting for a peoples president? I like to think that we are. I like to think that the best hope for really having a president for the people lies in Bernie Sanders. As I compose this I begin to think what such a presidency would look like. Would it be palpable?
