Morning Joe Interview Gets Nasty When Dem Senator Alleges Anti-Clinton Bias

A fifteen-minute Morning Joe interview with Clinton surrogate and Democratic Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill was quickly derailed when she immediately accused the show of being biased against Hillary Clinton.

McCaskill didn’t waste any time going after host Joe Scarborough. “Joe, I thought you were going to have me in to talk about Jeb Bush’s flip-flop on immigration. …Pathway to citizenship. He used to favor it, now he’s against it. I wonder why?”

“I don’t know,” he said. “Why do you think Claire, since you’ve obviously you’ve come loaded for bear? Go ahead.”

He goes on a tirade for at least 15 minutes every day about Hillary - usually about the emails (and that's during my 37 minute commute - who knows what he says the rest of the morning!). There's no question at all that he is out to derail her. I'm surprised he had the nerve to deny it (if he did).

He's doing what he can to knock Clinton down.

And he never mentioned Sanders - for months. He, like all others, finally have to acknowledge him.

She's damaged goods now, untrustworthy and dishonest in the general public's eyes.

They're presuming she will be the nominee, that's why they continue to attack. The want Hillary Clinton in the general election. at this point, it's their best shot at winning.

Hillary gives a different opinion on the same subjects every couple of weeks depending on her audience and what she thinks it will net her. As evidence of this is now coming out and is going to be presented to the American people in the starkest terms, how can one be expected to trust her to do anything that she says she is going to do? How can one really know what she believes or intends to do about anything? The only things Hillary's experience seems to be good for is perfecting how to talk out of both sides of her mouth, engaging in the politics of personal destruction and other aspects of her ruthless pursuit of power that remind one of what a Karl Rove might do. That kind of person ought not to be the Democratic nominee.

Quelle surprise!

McAsskill is turning into the most shameless of the Clinton shills, a shameless lot to begin with.

The interview again returned to barely restrained hostility and passive-aggressive sniping back and forth. “The one thing you guys won’t have to worry about is if I’ll ever come on here again and say exactly what I’m thinking,” McCaskill said towards to end. “At least we established that today.”

Are they trying to play the "you may find us repulsive, but we're the most effective" card?

I guess Gillibrand, Baldwin, Klobuchar are too smart to touch this, because they'd be 100x more effective than McCaskill in helping HRC. Get someone in there who people like.

is quite simply a hot mess. They truly don't understand that the old tactics don't work. You can't put the genie back in the bottle. Obama promised us hope and change and gave us consistently corporate-friendly policies so the country is very much in a "fool me once" mood.
