A fifteen-minute Morning Joe interview with Clinton surrogate and Democratic Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill was quickly derailed when she immediately accused the show of being biased against Hillary Clinton.
McCaskill didnt waste any time going after host Joe Scarborough. Joe, I thought you were going to have me in to talk about Jeb Bushs flip-flop on immigration. Pathway to citizenship. He used to favor it, now hes against it. I wonder why?
I dont know, he said. Why do you think Claire, since youve obviously youve come loaded for bear? Go ahead.

(30,807 posts)He goes on a tirade for at least 15 minutes every day about Hillary - usually about the emails (and that's during my 37 minute commute - who knows what he says the rest of the morning!). There's no question at all that he is out to derail her. I'm surprised he had the nerve to deny it (if he did).

And he never mentioned Sanders - for months. He, like all others, finally have to acknowledge him.

They're presuming she will be the nominee, that's why they continue to attack. The want Hillary Clinton in the general election. at this point, it's their best shot at winning.

(70,182 posts)The interview again returned to barely restrained hostility and passive-aggressive sniping back and forth. The one thing you guys wont have to worry about is if Ill ever come on here again and say exactly what Im thinking, McCaskill said towards to end. At least we established that today.

(337 posts)Are they trying to play the "you may find us repulsive, but we're the most effective" card?
I guess Gillibrand, Baldwin, Klobuchar are too smart to touch this, because they'd be 100x more effective than McCaskill in helping HRC. Get someone in there who people like.

(22,271 posts)is quite simply a hot mess. They truly don't understand that the old tactics don't work. You can't put the genie back in the bottle. Obama promised us hope and change and gave us consistently corporate-friendly policies so the country is very much in a "fool me once" mood.
