Reuters: Clinton +8 in 4 days to 49%. Erases 10 point drop from last week

C - 49%
S - 24%
B - 17%

http://polling.reuters.com/#!response/TR131/type/smallest/filters/PARTY_ID_:1/dates/20150808-20151013/collapsed/false

I didn't participate in the 10 points in 5 days silliness, because it is an easy way to be accused of being a partisan whiner. So instead I will do it when my candidate has a meteoric rebound.

Reuters is shit. The methodology is shit. The always open invited participant polling is shit. The 5 day rolling average that allows single days of polling to first cause a spike and then a valley when it rolls off is shit.

And when we're talking about something statistically impossible in Reuters, like a candidate hemmoraging 20% of her supporters in less than a week, maybe everyone can remember to not take it seriously.

But, I am sure we will be sitting through weekly posts on how Reuters shows the tide is turning or there is a Bern out or something else that is true for exactly 5 days before being wrong again.

And in case anyone believes the graph above is not how Reuters reported their data last week http://polling.reuters.com/#!

The lead headline on Clinton's bounce back leads right to the above chart.

Maybe that is why it was last sold for $1.00.

I am pretty sure that figure is correct despite the absurdity of it. I assume that is because the new owner had to assume the debt.

Not a lot of questions on what poll organizations release for public consumption these days.

This is an overall commentary on what I've read from you guys here and elsewhere about polling. You believe what you want, not what is true and factual.

I can't imagine living a life where I was in alt with one poll and slinging furious denials at another, up and down all day. Are they really going to keep this up until the November after next?

Apparently we're hypocrites for pointing out that Reuters is a crap poll both when Clinton is doing poorly and is doing well. I'm not sure how that makes us hypocrites and duplicitous but apparently it does.
