(14,255 posts)If Wasserman-Schultz is a Democrat, then I am not a Democrat. This is what she is helping do to the Party, and she would not be so smug and arrogant if she did not have powerful backers.

(559 posts)I don't know who or what, but you'd think more elected Dems (our supposed representatives) would care about this as much as we do. When I e-mailed my reps, I got non-responsive responses. I'm donating to Bernie, not to Dem party. Did you hear that DWS?

(41,600 posts)They are all CORRUPT, greedy, money grubbing, on-the-take, Corporate Owned, Wall St. Regulated thieves. There's a reason Congress polls around 9-11% favorable! They're all crooks - except BERNIE SANDERS, ELIZABETH WARREN and BARBARA LEE.
People now decide to "serve" in the U.S. Congress so they can get rich. They don't go there to work for WE THE PEOPLE. They go to make a Lot of money fast.

(1,209 posts)I would say if you are going to write about dissent and disorder among Democratic, at least post from a Democratic supporting writer. That said. The corporate conservative Democratic do seem to want to down Bernie in the same bathtub the conservatives want to drown the U.S.A. In.c

(2,603 posts)Obama needs a strong Republican majority to get TPP through. He's half way there with the TPA, I'm sure the Republicans will get him across the finish line before the end of his term.
If not, HRC will pick up the ball and run. At least that's the current plan. Sanders may throw a wrench in that one if the people choose correctly.

(84,711 posts)From the Article which is a long but good read:
She presented this to us as a fait accompli as she was about to go out and announce it to the whole committee, Rybak told me. I said to her, Well, at least there's some way you can explain why you came to that decision. She didn't even do that. She gaveled people out of order without any explanation.
For someone whos the head of a national party, you would think shed be better at, you know, politics, says a senior Democrat with close ties to the DNC. How do you not line up your own folks? How do you not touch base and say, This is what I need from you guys? At best, you consult; at least, you notify. But her default is to see her vice chairs as nuisances, not partnersnot even close. The word partner would never cross her lips.

Says the Democrat with close ties to the committee: The next chair is going to have to burn the place down and rebuild it.
