(2,227 posts)I've followed Bernie ever since he was on Thom Hartmann's show in Portland many years ago. I always wished more people were listening then. Now, that seems to be happening. I don't think he needs to change anything, just keep doing what he's been all along. Talk about the issues that people care about. The only way I would support Hillary: If she gives back all the big bank money, all the drug company money and does it like Bernie is doing, a purely people powered campaign, then I would believe her. I don't dislike Hillary, I just really like Bernie and what he stands for.

(94,502 posts)That's not a flippant question. What is the message that will appeal to EVERYONE (not just DU members), such as more conservative Democrats in Texas? Or moderate Republicans and Independents in States like Florida and Ohio who have elected Tea Party Governors?
And where will he get the resources to compete with a Republican with $1B in cash?
