This is what HRC needs to say about her Iraq War vote:

"I should have listened to those who said Bush would take the resolution as a mandate for war. Because I thought it was politically dangerous to defy the adminstration, I voted no. The deaths of 500,000 to 1 million Iraqis are on my head and nothing in that country is better at all. I am sorry to the core of my being and I will regret what I did to the end of my days.

I have learned from my mistakes.

I no longer believe that U.S. military force is the default solution for international disputes.

I no longer believe that U.S. military intervention in the Arab/Muslim world can be of any use.

As president, I will defend the country against external attack, and when our interests are threatened...but I will redefine those interests as the creation and preservation of a socially and economically democratic world order by the people of the world, working from below, and I will accept that it is always legitimate for people of good will and principle to raise questions about any use of force".

That, to me, would show that the former SoS has "evolved".

And I offer this in all sincerity and goodwill.

It'll never happen. Not to any degree will an apology come out of her mouth for that war or even the vote.

I wouldn't believe it if she said it. Not now.

I heard her the other day again on an interview state that one of the biggest lessons she's learned was to be skeptical of giving any President that much control, no matter which side of the aisle they're on. And of course she would defend the country against any external threats. No question there.

3. She should say "I had just gotten into the Senate and it was my very first vote".

It would be as believable as anything else I suppose.

Bernie keeps voting to approve war bills, war extensions, war funding, war killing, endless war yet you do not hold him accountable to the same standard. and I offer this in all sincerity and goodwill

"I no longer believe that U.S. military force is the default solution for international disputes. " -- she never did

"I no longer believe that U.S. military intervention in the Arab/Muslim world can be of any use." -- unless you believe that President Sanders will pull all US forces out of the Middle East on day one, I say he and Clinton are on the same page.

More listening and less demagoguery would have informed you of this.
