Who lives in a solid Blue or Red state?

A lot of people are making the argument that if you support Bernie in the primary but refuse to vote for Hillary in the election (assuming Bernie doesn't win the nomination) that you're really voting for the GOP candidate (whoever that is).

But unless you live in a swing state it really doesn't make a difference. So I'm curious, how many live in a solid Blue or Red state or a swing state.

The state that proudly brought the nation Ted Cruz & Louie Gohmert.

We only elect Republican governors and an occasional Republican Senator when the seat holder dies and the Democrats put up a horrific candidate (same candidate who gave us our current Republican governor).

always seem to conveniently forget.

I'm in California so the vote will go to the D's no matter how odious the D is.

But...seeing signs of life in local elections. Last few SLC Mayor has been Dem. But on the national stage we have Chaffetz, Lee and newly arrived idiot Mia Love. The national stage is humiliating.

but it is hard to tell sometimes. We've got a tea party governor. Only 4 electoral votes, but those can be split by districts, of which we have 2. District 1 is solidly blue. District 2 is more purple and can go either way sometimes, even for independents. I happen to live in district 2.

Which is what I would do if I lived in any other state.

I live in Washington, safely blue. In fact, I voted for Nader and nobody cared, since WA was so heavily Democratic that Gore won the state easily, even with the Nader votes.
