The GOP debate, a good reminder on what's actually important here.

And that's winning the White House. I don't really care which Dem or Rep end up coming out of the primaries, provided that the Dem ends up with the White House. This is not because of "loyalty" it's because of who the Dems are and who the Reps are and what they stand for.

I support Hillary because I think she has the best chance of beating the GOP. But if it's someone else besides Hillary that gets the nomination, nobody will be a stronger supporter of that person than me.

Let's please stop with the "no difference between the parties" thing. Anyone who thinks that needs to watch the GOP debates.

We're all on the same side. President Trump or Rubio or Bush or Carson would be truly disastrous.

Anyone who truly believes that or promotes it is stupid to the point of no return.

Your op is spot on. I just don't think watching a republican debate would change the mind of someone who can truly believe that comment. More often than not that comment is simply used as a tool of voter suppression. That group doesn't believe it either they are just working against progressives.
