The BIG DIFFERENCE between Hillary & Bernie, that Clintonistas would rather not talk about

The BIG DIFFERENCE between Hillary and Bernie
By EuroYankee * Tuesday Nov 10, 2015 * Kos

No one begrudged the Roosevelts their wealth, nor the Kennedys theirs. Even Mitt Romney was generally considered to have “earned” his fortune. And Donald Trump has become famous almost solely for his success as a businessman. In other words, they “earned” their money in the American way.

But the Clintons? They are simply “America’s Political Family.” They have never done anything else. And yet they have parlayed their political connections into a fortune of $55 million, and they travel in the same circles as the Trumps and the Bushes, etc.. Indeed, it is now widely known that the Clintons went to Trump’s last wedding, and Trump’s daughter Ivanka is best friends with Chelsea Clinton.

And this brings us to the Big Difference. Bernie Sanders is a true believer. He is motivated by a genuine desire to help people, to speak truth to power, and as he says so often in his speeches, he wants to use his political position to “take on the billionaire class.”

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has used her political positions and connections to become PART of that “billionaire class.”

And that is, I think, why people in the US don’t like her. She literally embodies all that is wrong with the calcified, corrupt and money-driven political system that is running America today.

The Clintons and the Trumps are Good Friends

Please, please understand that the Clintons and the Trumps are all FRIENDS. Their children are BFFs and they swim in the same waters, go to the same restaurants, tan on the same beaches – and all rendezvous at Martha’s Vineyard, the Hamptons and so forth for recreation.

We need to break the grip of the ruling political elite – and that is what Bernie Sanders wants to do. Make no mistake – the “Billionaire Class” is a ruling elite in America, and it actually has its supporters among the American populace.

When the Clintons and the Trumps do better, we all do better. They will create more jobs for all Americans. Greed is good.

except that I DID add .. "that Clintonistas would rather not talk about" to the Kos title, fyi.

And your post illustrates that, choosing instead to snipe about use of caps.

And about which candidate has the courage and track record of taking on the billionaires.

But you know that already, huh.

In the general election come next November 8.

That's the biggest difference. Vote your greatest wishes, for Bernie or whomever, in the primary, then move on with the job. Bernie'll undoubtedly be telling us all how he hopes we will do just that.

is maintenance of the status quo with a few small crumbs thrown to "the masses." There is no way she will take on the corporatists, the oligarchy. There is no way she will even attempt to un-rig our very rigged system.

Try to be realistic, Hortensis.

I've watched the Clintons generally, and Hillary specifically, since the early 1990s. He surprised and then shocked me in his acquiescence to tptb and the resulting harm to the American people. I began having second thoughts about her when she carpetbagged to NY in order to grab an easy Senate seat. But it was her conduct of the 2008 campaign that horrified me. And everything I've learned about her since then has filled in a disgusting, alarming picture of the kind of person she is.

Maybe you know something about her the rest of us don't know. If so, please tell us.

So far the best your compadres can do is: she belongs to the Democratic Party (very easy to do), she's better than a Republican (not much), and her and Bill's political power and money has half the Washington D.C. establishment either cowed by her or viewing her as a convenient tool. Oh, and she's a female.

In the meantime, the American people suffer and lose hope.

So again, tell us your wonderful inside story about Hillary.

Actions in the past are, for all of us, formed by the realities of that past. Our actions in the future will be formed by the realities of the future.

Maybe, step back, reevaluate, allow a little acknowledgement of what cannot be known to soften your assumptions about the future?

If I just have enough faith, I too will see the soft glow around Hillary's head.

She exists somewhere we cannot see.

It's a place called ..."the future."

Forget about her past. She has no past.

She's out there now, waiting for us. All we have to do is ... believe ...
