Instead of Panicking, Donate Money or Your Time

or volunteer at a local charity. Or, just do something else with your time instead of watching the Republican convention. I watched the season finale of "Newsroom" during Eddie Munster's speech. (BTW, I love the show, but Sorkin makes the female characters look like high school girls and it makes me cringe. Also, where are the GLBT characters???)

Any way, the Dems will have their convention next week, and we will all feel better. Obama is the best Dem politician out there, and you don't see him panicking.

I've learned a lot about leadership from Obama. I've learned how to be relaxed and focused on the tasks ahead without letting your emotions take over your actions. Be calm and tackle the day ahead.

Why are people panicking? It was much worse last time with the base getting fired up over Palin.

Get a grip ... This is the weakest GOP convention since 1996 ...

These guys are mental pipsqueaks ...

What do I worry about?

1) Liberals in places like DU refuse to contribute to the Obama campaign

2) The Democratic party is unable to capitalize on obvious GOP weaknesses aa usual

I'd like to donate but it's not legal from abroad (Canada).

Why would anyone panic anyway? Romney's not gonna win so just relax

this NEVER would have happened in the past few elections. The polls are still solid, as they can be right now. The Repukes are getting their day in the sun with that convention, which is normal stuff. But they're really not getting much traction at all... 17 million less than 2008s, and that was with the train wreck Palin that everyone wanted to see. And seriously, the media seems to really dislike the arrogance and dishonesty of the Romney/Lyin' ticket, and have been vocal about it for once.

If people are freaking out over Clint Eastwood speaking at the Convention? Ummm he's a lifelong republican/libertarian 82 year old that has little pull with anyone that wasn't going to vote for that ticket anyway.

If you're panicking because Michael Moore said Romney will win... then remember that's one person. Period.

But.. if people would like to work hard, and donate, and spread the word. GREAT!!! But this panic shit is just really dumb, and it's lovely fodder for those that will use it in their psych ops against.

I'm not worried. Even though Mitt and his money bag stiffs have been spending record x1,000 dollars so far, it has NOT pushed him over the top. He is unlikable. Period. And the convention doesn't seem to help. When the press dislikes you, it's even worse. Bush got away with a ton, because they liked him. Romney.. has no friends.
