I have been staying away from Huff Post and today decided to look at it. Anti Obama 24/7 now

The headline teases:
John Cussack" Obama has "gutted" the Constitution. ---Really John how is that?

Who killed hope? (with a picture of the president) - Hope was killed by the corporate fascist republicans that who killed hope.

It's Complicated - with a picture of President Obama & Clinton both looking distressed

Obama Promised A New Kind Of Politics, But Played The Same Old Game - He tried and the same people who killed hope stopped it. I thought President Obama bent over more than he should have with the republicans who kept slapping his hand whenever he put it out to work with them.

Obama reacts to Eastwood speech - With a picture of the President drinking a glass of beer. Why not the picture tweeted of him in the chair. This is so blatant in the dog whistle. The black President drinks is probably an alcoholic oh scary don't vote for the alcoholic.

The only positive one:

Obama: Republican Ideas Are "last century" man. Then I went back and looked at the picture they had of him and he looks angry. It appears HP is now working to undermine this President. I started seeing the change after AOL brought them and the other day Arianna wasn't "sure" she was going to vote for the President.

Screw you HP. DU rules!

with your liberal purisms. The rest of us are fucking LIVING the stale leftovers that the last Republican gave us. This is the issue with some Democrats every fucking election. No one is pure enough for some people.. they expect that a President that was elected by the MIDDLE, is going to be some Noam Chomsky in the White House. Ain't gonna happen John. The President is elected by mostly moderates, and he is representing ALL Americans. You want to see a President impeached in the first few months? They have him try out those special interests that represent the extreme left. We've already experienced the absolute stalemate and push-back from even MODERATELY Democratic policies. The only thing we can hope for is to continue to get Democrats elected, and each election they are slightly more left-leaning, as the Country is more open to those ideas. And you use your teen-boy angst and money to elect down ticket the people who can TRULY create change on a smaller scale. But we have to get them elected first.

Sorry John Cusack that you didn't get your fucking pony. The REST of us are just trying to keep from having another gutting of the ecoomy and new wars by the latest empty suit Rove puppet. If you don't know when to stfu, then get out of the way and go have the cheese plate at Geoffreys until your madness passes.

Cussack has a net worth which 99% of the human population will never have.

Get over yourself. It's about long term goals.

...I was banned into the last election.

It was Palin, Palin, PALIN 24/7. And if it wasn't Gov. Quitter herself, it was her stupid spawn or freak husband.

All Palin articles were restricted for posts...ALL of them...and had to be viewed by a moderator before being released (that was very unusual). So, I was saying in my posts on those articles, "Say, HP, why all the Palin articles on the front page? It seems that there are 3-7 articles every single day? Isn't that a bit of free publication for her and her family? Can someone please respond?"

Then, one day, couldn't login...checked email...from some TWIT, "...you appear to have a "thing" about the Palin Family and you also seem to post abusively in regards to the Republican Party (and it was fully spelled like this...Republican Party). After review of your posts, your account has been terminated."

From that point, I've NEVER ever looked at that crap-hole site again.

F - Off, HP.

I've added them to my daily news round on the internet in recent months. I thought they were "friendly territory", but since the GOP convention, there's been a shift. Someone mentioned being banned for Palin comments and how they promoted her. I notice they do the same thing with Rush Limbaugh. He seems to have a headline on the front page almost daily. I guess they are not so friendly after all.

Use to be up there with this site, daily kos, think progress, talking points memo, newshounds, etc.. But then after Pres Obama got elected they started acting more like Drudge and Fox Nation. Have not been there since 2010.

As if it was a maybe? She has no clue. A vote that is not for President Obama is a vote for Mittens. It is that simple. She also wants to put controversial crap on her website to get more hits. She has never had the integrity that is here at DU or even at Daily Kos. Heck, Wonkette is better then the crap Arianna peddles. It has humor and makes great points. Her entertainment section is nothing better then the Daily Mail.

All bad news about the last four years, plots to disrupt the convention, and every bad photo of the President they could possibly post on one site. I can see from some of the other replies here that its not completely unexpected, but I was kind of new to Huffpo and the shift seems sudden to me. I guess I just haven't been there long enough to see their full colors. Very disappointing.

Yes, there are some annoying articles but look at the headline every day, it's always ripping Romney and the GOP.

Like right now it says "ROMNEY'S BAIN" in huge letters and the article is about how ex-Bain managed company employees are speaking at the DNC. How is that anti-Obama 24/7?
