Trying to excuse wall st. ties with lowbrow platitudes about 9-11, or insinuating that giving the DEA and cops carte blanche to search iphones for pictures of people smoking bongs will somehow protect us from "terrorism"... blech.

I'll vote for her if she's the nominee, but I don't like the way she reflexively pivots to her distressingly right-leaning 2000s era persona, given half an excuse.

He'll find himself in Kucinich and Edwards territory here.

That doesn't necessarily translate to real life, though.

12. It's why I favor dividing the nation into 6 geographically-contiguous electoral districts. . .

and which district votes first in the primaries would rotate among them, so every 24 years each of us would have an opportunity to vote first for President.

All states in an electoral district would have their primaries on the same day. This way, campaigns would focus on a select geographic region -- costs would be lower, as there wouldn't be as much travel required, and the media buys would be more focused as well, since neighboring states would be addressed at the same time.

There'd be an added benefit as well, as the citizens of each district could expect (indeed, demand) that each politician address the regional issues of their concern as well as the national issues, thereby denying the candidates the opportunity to hide behind national platitudes instead of answering specific questions important to a select electorate.

But it'll never happen. Too many vested interests with too much at stake in the present, crippled system. So I refuse to support it, with either my money or my time. There's enough useless poppycock in my life without my seeking out other, even more marginal issues to feed my ulcer.

21. The last time California had a say in who the nominee would be it was 1968 . . .

and our candidate never made it out of the hotel.

Since then, we've had to be content with what other people decide, generally more conservative, more rural, and more Eastern than we here in the West, and definitely people without an interest in the specific conditions and problems of California.

Sucks. And I refuse to be a part of it anymore.

is a bit creepy but I think if you'll dig deeper you'll see that not only are you wrong, but we had a conversation about this a while back (it was a tad creepy that you were paying attention then, too) and I determined that your "lying about my age" was me hitting the wrong answer to a poll once- ever try to do one of those things on an ipad? - maybe saying the first Democrat I voted for was Kennedy, instead of Dukakis.

I'm securely in my 40s, that's all you need to know. Believe me, or don't, don't give a shit. But I'm flattered that you care.

They don't even know the difference between communism and democratic socialism so they created a red scare Bernie minion with a hammer and cycle on his overalls.

So you can imagine what kind of bars they frequent.

I don't think they're in college towns, the best place to hang out when I was 18 was a place called Rasputin's, you can imagine what the patrons there would have thought about our confused friends.

74. True, phone posting svcks. It can make you give up

on little details such as punctuation when you can't remember or see what is auto-corrected, etc. Somehow when I post from my phone, if I go back to insert punctuation, the last word I typed is inserted where I wanted to punctuate. It gets beyond tedious, and I have a fairly large screen. I can't imagine it with a smaller phone.

I agree punctuation is important, but now I know how internet /email/Twitter typing has influenced standards. I never even wanted a smart phone, but here I am reading and typing while doing errands. I'm hooked now!

One thing, though, I would never cook my family or my dog!

104. If you can't post the proof then it's obvious you're lying, last chance.

Unless you can post the exact quote where I "admitted" I keep tabs on other members you're lying about it.

Trying to stalk and goad me into a hide won't work either.

You've followed me around the board one too many times, now you've been caught "keeping tabs" on me and if you can't post the proof, lying about my posts too.

means you lack credibility.

You posted about her changing support from BS to Hillary as if that's some reflection of integrity. What bullshit. She or anyone can evaluate a candidate and change their mind whenever they want without your approval. That's why politicians campaign -- to win votes.

Your manipulative postings about the website you obsess about are also not credible. You fail to mention that the only reason it exists is because of time outs here. At least you admit you are trying to damage people because they dare to post somewhere else on the internet without your interference or approval.

Put that in your little "bookmarks" and "compilation" files (your words).

No kidding, HC supporters who couldn't be civil here started their own website where they could discuss ways to stalk and harass other posters who earned the right to keep posting here.

Iow: Being manipulative

Posting links and screenshots isn't being manipulative because facts aren't manipulative.

And that's why my posts struck a nerve, I backed up my claims while you've got nothing to back up yours except some bizarre conspiracy theory that using Google and having one post by a fellow Bernie supporter bookmarked is the same thing as "keeping files" on people.

So take that back to the cave and tell them you struck out - again. My posts didn't get hidden but your antics did keep me entertained.

Of course, all of what you wrote is manipulative, which is why it's not credible. You are obviously too emotionally involved with where people post on the internet, which is just...bizarre.

If I were you I'd step away from the bigoted stalker site, it seems to be having an adverse effect on your perception of what happens here on DU.

You seem to be confusing links and screenshots with emotions and that's a little disturbing.

Besides, it's obvious to everyone that only people who are obsessed would start a website to stalk other DUers, like the denizens of the cave.

Compared to them the rest of us seem to be remarkably well adjusted. I do feel sorry for those people, though so I guess pity counts as an emotion.

You are actually coming cross as angry-

Look at your lack of credibility in this thread alone: post 35, you complain about the same thing you, yourself, admit to doing in post 37. And you keep copying what I say, obviously as a defense mechanism.

So, it looks like YOU need to step away from 'the website'. You can start detaching by deleting your obsessive "bookmarks" and "compilations"... I have one post by a Bernie supporter bookmarked (no need for scare quotes, it's a harmless feature) and the bookmarked post contains a compilation of screenshots for easy access.

Again:

One bookmark to one post, that one post is a compilation of screenshots.

No files, no bizarre conspiracy, no tinfoil required to block the mind control rays.

My dog got scared when I wasn't home during a thunder-storm and got caught up in the cords from my land-line that sat on my table. He ate his way out, including half the phone - so I'm borrowing one (well I'm not even sure it's a smart phone, it's a cellular with a bunch of crap on it, maybe it's just a normal one) - I hate it! I'm always losing this one I've borrowed - maybe there's some kind of app that can yell, hey ... I'm here. I'll have to look into it soon. Or maybe wait until after Christmas. But I don't get how posting screenshots from another website = keeping tabs on DUers.

Those screenshots show bigotry, trolling and alert stalking at a completely different website. Citing them isn't the same thing as keeping tabs on people here.

What a strange leap of logic.

We have a river that runs through the property but before we moved here I used to strap it to my car and go wherever I wanted.

It only weighs 50 lbs so I can carry it right to the water, no trailer or ramp needed, and you only need a few inches of water to float.

That was what, 2 years ago? Someone sure cares about you an awful lot.

I don't know if we can trust you now, next thing you know we'll find out you're not a real blonde.

147. I still have no fucking idea what you're yammering about.

Apparently - I learned from HER, on this thread - the one you're showing your weird obsession of her on - she linked to another poster's link that contained a lot of those nasty screenshots.

Cleared that up for you? Good.

Someone is confused alright.

There's so much truthiness in your posts they belong in the dungeon.

94. No kidding!

Someone's been keeping tabs on you, you lucky devil!

Too funny!

It did jolt my memory because of this memorable thread:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024117420#post75

My own sisters and brother can't even remember the ages of my kids and sometimes even mine!

Glad you added 'sort of' at the end there, otherwise I might have gotten a tad jealous.

Not a lot of us here apparently, but I guess DU skews older on average than some other sites where Bernie is also popular. You guys are cooler than the people on the other sites though.

149. Interesting. DU truly doesn't reflect the national numbers

Yea. Yea. I already knew that, but this poll just confirms it.

Oh, and I couldn't vote. In Dog years I've long been dead.
