one percent interest is about the best most Americans can earn on their savings, thats a loss when you figure in inflation and all the fees. Was about 2% plus, 4 years ago.

Banks skim off 2% off the top on every debit card transaction across America, the largest investment accounts pay much higher interest rates.

Someway we need banks that give a decent savings rate for regular Americans.

Four more years for President Obama, I would like him to get Americans saving again with a better interest rate for small accounts. Maybe we need a Gov run citizen account Bank, offshore

Dems need to smoke this latest attack from the Cons about are we better off today.
Lets not forget. Four years ago when Obama was just inaugurated, a select group of Cons including Frank Luntz, Eric Cantor and yes vice pres nominee Paul Ryan plotted to bring Congress to a standstill and not approve any legislation but rather obstruct even if it mean't bringing this economy to it's knees. Well they succeeded in bringing the economy to it's knees and now they are the sharks circling for the kill by luring those who don't pay attention by offering a false sense of hope that they are the answer and that they have the solutions!
DON'T TAKE THE BAIT!
Despite what these crooks are doing, the economy and Obama's efforts are slowly but surely making a difference.
