Chris Matthews Accuses Romney of 'Encouraging White Anger'

"SNIP......................................

Chris Matthews accused the Romney campaign of "encouraging white anger" in order to win in November during an appearance with Andrea Mitchell live from Charlotte on Monday afternoon. Matthews pointed to Mitt's use of a birther joke in Michigan, the campaign's welfare ads, the voter I.D. laws that Republicans are pushing as evidence. "Those aren't opinions. It's factual," Matthews told Andrea Mitchell after she tried to distance herself from his remarks. It's no secret that Romney needs a high percentage of the white vote in order to win. And we've talked before, after the last time Chris Matthews accused the Romney campaign of playing the race card, about how race is quickly becoming a leading issue in the election. Last week, John Beohner made controversial comments about how Republicans are hoping that blacks and latinos "won’t show up" to vote in November.

3. The dangerous thing is not the immediate bigotry cesspool. It's the lifelong impact.

I'm not sure how many white people think this way, but then I live in a highly diverse, blue state and a very liberal city. You simply couldn't thrive here with these outmoded attitudes.

But everyone will pay the price for the backlash, for fomenting racial hatred back and forth, as the world changes. These clowns should have always championed the rights of all minorities, all these years, as well as now.

Because history is absolutely against them.

They would see the need for everyone to cast their vote, to give a voice to their political beliefs
