Dollars are not your ticket to free speech, and bank accounts don't determine voting rights.

(13,616 posts)when the 2020 election effort is underway, and people wonder why those new college kid alumni do not donate, they will cry and wail. Look, I know the Boomers are rich and important, but you cannot starve and beat your young and wonder why they do not support you when your are older.

(52,155 posts)why was the location of the Democratic debate a cause to exclude gen y? I really don't see it. You can enter casinos at age 18 even in NC so I would have to assume that is true of Vegas as well. They don't charge entrance fees either. So really, just how did that setting exclude gen y?
