CNN has their pre-set talking points in play, regardless of any speech.

After a really good, rousing, inspirational address at the DNC by the mayor of Newark, NJ, CNN anchor Dana Bash went right to the established CNN line - God and Jerusalem as primary issues in the Dem platform. And Blitzer is "concerned".

Both are issues worth noting, but to overlook this speech in its entirety to play to these two points isn't journalism by any means.

Geez.

Well then, it's time to change everything just for him. After all, he's Wolf Blitzer.

It's like the reverse of faux journalism when a interviewer asks a question, the politician responds with a set spin, regardless of the question and all move on. No follow up. That's what is accepted as journalism these days.
