Hillary Clinton is PRO death penalty.

How can anyone justify her position as a good conscience Dem??

How come she hasn't "evolved" here yet?? Killing convicts while they are already in custody and harmless to society, it's a pretty big deal in my book.

Both Bernie and O'Malley are against it.

Why is she still pro death penalty??? Care to enlighten me, you Hillary supporters???

You won't say.

They are identical, but you won't compare, because it would ruin your thread.

Both are in favor of death penalty for heinous crimes only.

What has occurred here is a clear case of jury-failure and a strong argument for why the Admins need to assert the ability to hide/delete/restore things that juries get factually wrong. Facts should assert over the opinion of the community, if we want to actually be the reality-based community we're always claiming to be.

A jury got it wrong 0-7 and now a disproven slander against a Democrat is bulletproof. Good job!

Warren is anti-DP.
Clinton is not anti-DP.

Their opinions are not identical, they're diametrically-opposed. The poster chose to ignore that those differences had been discussed.

it bothers me greatly that people I'd otherwise respect think it's perfectly okay to kill people. I want to ask: Isn't there something in the, what do you call it, the Bible? that says something about not killing? And isn't that on the top ten list of some kind?

One more reason I despise organized religion. It codifies hypocrisy.

But I'm not a one issue voter. Hillary is on record saying that it should be used very rarely. I guess that's a small start, but I still disagree with her on the Death Penalty.

Life in Prison is a fate worst than death.
