Bush's "election" resulted in a precipitous drop in life expectancy for white males in southern states. In the worst example, a county in Mississippi, almost half of those who were 54 or older in 2000 are now dead (statistically; I haven't counted them).

By 2016, it is going to be demographically difficult for Jeb Bush to get elected, simply because his brother and his spiritual allies in Congress have killed off the voters they needed to win.

The Republicans depend on aging, frightened middle class white men to carry them. They focused their profit taking on these same individuals, while simultaneously cutting out the social safety net beneath them. Now, when they depend on those people more than ever, they are disappearing fast, and every vote they cast hastens their demise.

I guess Republicans don't wish to believe in social Darwinism, either. But they are doing an excellent job of practicing it against themselves.

Remember, GWB never actually won either election. He stole Florida in 2000 with the aid of his brother the governor of Florida, and he demonstrably lost Ohio and won by hook AND crook.

Fortunately, Barack Obama has titaniums and will not be bullied nor out-played.
