Related: About this forumRep JE Clyburn on MSNBC: "We Have 19,000 People On The Wait List For Obama's Stadium Speech."
Also heard the same news from an Obama campaign director.
So much for the latest R LIE that Obama couldn't fill the stadium.

I hope it isn't final. As an NC resident I really want it in the Bank of America Stadium.

(375 posts)1. A guy at work said it was because the wrath of God over the platform - Jerusalam
He said that Democrats had pissed God off when they removed the works from the platform. Also he claimed we turned our back on Israel and Jerusalam. I told him to go to Hell. He responded that lighting would have struck the stage.
Its better that it was moved indoors. Nobody gets hit by rain or lightning. Indoors its a packed house.

... in the stadium if the weather should hold. I know I'd be heartbroken if I'd been going. I assume there's nowhere large enough at this late time to host the overflow crowds, but damn. I just feel so terrible for them,

Charlotte Observer: 'Dems blow it'
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The editorial page editor of the Charlotte Observer is not happy.
Taylor Batten posted a scathing column Wednesday skewering the Obama camp's decision to move President Obama's speech indoors -- and turn away tens of thousands who had tickets, mainly area residents:

We have enough supports to fill it.
I wish they would keep it planned and IF it rains then move it indoors, or something.
It would certainly shut up the Repubs who think they know what is going on but aren't on the ground.
