How Bill Clinton's Speech Impacted This Arkansas Delegate (hours after his grandmother's death)

Arkansas delegate Chris Burks started his day by receiving tragic news. He ended it, as he put it, "triumphantly."

Burks found out early Wednesday morning that his grandmother had passed away at the age of 92. He decided to stay for former President Bill Clinton's speech.

He was glad he did.

The speech touched him in a personal way. Burks and his grandmother shared a love of politics. The common thread was always Arkansas' own Bill Clinton. And Burks said his grandmother instilled in him some of the ideals that Clinton talked about on Wednesday.

Sweet story.. I'm thinking Chris Burks was sure his grandmother would definitely have wanted him to stay.
