The bug smash was classless, the anti-Bernie, and anti-Clinton stuff is sig lines is terrible.

I usually browse mobile so I don't see them, and then when I get on a laptop I'm always so annoyed to see all the hateful stuff people put in them.

With so much going on I missed this. It happens.

A couple months ago I started a post here in GD-P with "I was going to post in the Hillary group but I'm banned" and got messages from hosts immediately that was META, edit the title of get it locked. I edited the title. It was a reply that complimented Hillary.

Anyway I'm glad this post put the video on my screen.

she will thoroughly research before responding and will not indulge poor arguments or faulty reasoning. I respect that. And, I might add, she never will respond with the ugliness that seems to be the preferred method of discourse this season. When I have received corrective feedback from her, I have paid attention because she has been able to point out to me the information I was missing. I respect her opinions and her intellect.

Many times through Spring and Summer.

I backed her up this summer when something she wrote was being heavily attacked. I thought her words came out in a way that was being misunderstood. I felt I saw her heart and knew she wasn't saying what it sounded like.


But lately, to me, her OPs have lost a lot of that heart I saw. I am talking about my own awareness. Perhaps, she still doesn't mean it the way I read them. I am asking her for assurance, I suppose.

Meanwhile, the hosts of the Bernie Sanders Group are a heck of lot more tolerant than the host of the Hillary Group, and I am very sure posting in the Bernie Group in support of Sanders does not get anyone blocked.

compare each group's actual subscribership to its own number of blocked members. That's proportionality.

It's not even close.

In fact, when I posted the hard numbers a short time ago, the lopsidedness was apparently so alarming (embarrassing?) to someone that the post actually elicited an alert.

Probably because they block people for next to nothing. I got mine for questioning one of the mods assertion that ""Dynasty" directed at Hillary is sexist demagoguery. do not respect anyone who resorts to that.".

Apparently ridiculous statements have to be protected from any questioning there.

Number of subscribers: 241
Number of people trashing: 144

The Sanders group which was created in April of this year. That was when Bernie got his many supporters here so I disagree that there are fewer PROPORTIONATELY blocked from the Hillary group. There were at the least over 50 blocked before the Sanders group was created.

Number of posts, All time: 81,964
Number of blocked posters : 176 and a few of those are banned trolls.
Number of subscribers: 773
Number of people trashing: 101

Group and they block only those who post to undermine Bernie Sanders.

I got blocked from the Hillary Group for posting that the left of the Democratic Party is not the far left before i realized I was in the Hillary Group. Posting that DUs right is not the far right never would have resulted in a block in the Bernie Sanders Group. So many others have stories about comments that were as neutral as mine or were even more innocuous.

of Sanders supporters here making the high number of blocks in that group incredibly strange. But it would make sense if you think that there seem to be more than half as many blocks in the Sanders group as there are subscribers to the Hillary group and that number will likely rise.

But some are working hard to not understand that incredibly simple point. The comments in this thread are probably some of the most absurd and embarrassing I've ever seen here.

Y'all blocked me because I gave the history of my assessment of Hillary (liked her as flotus, questioned her carpetbagging, disappointed by certain crucial Senate votes, shocked and totally disillusioned by her behavior in the 2008 campaign.) And so y'all banned me. But it's okay, because in the months that followed, I got to know what y'all are like.

I think everyone who's banned from the Hillary group should post a comment like mine. We could fill up the thread in no time and make the OP look silly. Yeah, it's a shame someone should spoil something good with a put-down opening like that. The Bernie thread is a good refuge w/useful information.

I'm finding it hard to believe that people are so prone to peer pressure that they would change their allegiance based on some anonymous internet posters and it worries me. I've seen this on both sides. We need battle-tested warriors, not cream puffs who will reject the core policies of their candidates when someone was mean on the internet. Doesn't speak well to personal resilience.
