WTF is up with TPM's Polltracker app?

All the recent polls listed in the app itself have Obama up by 4 or 5, yet it has Rmoney with the overall lead and the trend chart shows a dramatic spike for Rmoney. What gives? Anyone know if there is a major lag in the polls being applied? I thought the app was pretty much real time.

It has shifted a bit back and forth for Obama (it's at 256 EV now) but the dial has been stuck at 191 votes for Romney for several weeks now (TPM). Romney could potentially win the national popular vote (don't think it's likely but it's possible) and Obama could still rack up the needed 270 EV (and probably more) to win a second term. Even though I think we all have a love/hate relationship with the Electoral College, with elections like this that are running close, I've felt a whole lot better knowing that the Electoral College is where President Obama's odds of winning are a LOT better than if we were just going by popular vote.

That's where the Repubs have been stealing the elections the past few cycles.

So far, so good.
