LOL! Civitis Poll has Mittens taking 30% of black vote in NC and leading by 10!

Romney Ahead in North Carolina
A new Civitas Institute Flash Poll in North Carolina finds Mitt Romney with a 10 point lead over President Obama, 53% to 43%.

Big caveat: The poll shows Romney winning 30% of the black vote, which would be extraordinary.

A PPP poll released late last night found the race essentially tied.

"extraordinary!" Yes! Civitias is a GOP firm, I think, and only reason I'm posting it is because it's so outlandish. I think the PPP poll from last night is much more accurate as to the state of the NC election.

2. Note, too, this poll was taken

after GOP and began on the first day of Dem convention. But it's clearly an outliar. PPP showing a one-point Obama lead taken over the last weekend seems more accurate.

The vote for that hideous "protect marriage act" or whatever the hell it was called, went the way it did in part because many black churches came out against gay marriage. . . .

So if some folks are voting one issue, it could make a big difference. . . . But I doubt it would be 30%!

5. This could be backlash from the gay marriage bill. A lot of black voters in NC

voted for the NC Constitutional amendment to prevent gays from marrying...or
recognizing civil unions, either.

in bed with a dead teen-age girl or maybe a live teen-age boy? Come to think of it, Mitts is doing so bad, that wouldn't do it.
