From Dkos: Should Bernie Sanders be fundraising off a conspiracy?

And instead of coming forward this morning and owning up to it, the Bernie camp threw 1 of the 4 culprits under the bus and began fundraising off this by proclaiming it is proof of their “Hillary-DNC” conspiracy theory. ‘See! See! This is why they are having the debates on Saturday! We told you so! Now give us money and spread that conspiracy theory, please and thank you!!!! 😉’

It’s a clever tactic. Turning yourself into the victim when you committed the crime. But it’s also a dirty tactic because it impugns Hillary’s integrity by saying she’s involved in a conspiracy theory with the DNC.

However, the premise of this conspiracy theory relies on Hillary needing to have the Sanders campaign stripped of its data to win. Hillary is up 30-points nationwide, up in Iowa, will dominate Super Tuesday, and will win most of the superdelegates. So why would Debbie feed right into the “Hillary-DNC” conspiracy theory with Hillary in such high standing?

Ironically, Bernie Sanders is hailed as some sort of political saint. Yet as of late, he has been employing some questionable tactics against Hillary.

After declaring Americans are sick and tired of Hillary’s “e-mails,” Bernie is now bringing up the FBI investigation again [even though the FBI is investigating the security of the server; Hillary is NOT under direct FBI investigation]. Invoking “FBI” is an intentional and systematic way to brainwash voters against Hillary Clinton. Bernie is [yet again] doing the job of the Koch Brothers by attacking Hillary over her e-mails.

The Republicans have been employing similar smear tactic against Hillary’s integrity for years, successfully brainwashing a huge segment of our population to be Hillary-hating sheep. The right-wing must love watching their strategy work even more effectively on the left, hoping Bernie can achieve Nader-like status and ruin all of Obama's progress.

Point is — Bernie’s campaign is not staying true to Bernie’s word when he fundraises by impugning Hillary’s integrity with a conspiracy theory. It’s an unfortunate development for him and his many supporters that seem to think Hillary is a demon. Y’all are in some weird company with the Republicans on that one.

It's gonna rain money into the Sanders campaign for a couple of days now.

And for som reason he is actually listening to them and letting them use these kind of questionable tactics. It's wrong, and if Bernie keeps this up he will find out just how these things come back to bite him in the butt.

10. Except, it's obvious it's NOT a conspiracy.

When the head of the DNC is a former Clinton chair, has hidden our debates, employees a data management company owned by her brother and his friend, who also worked for Clinton in 2008 and leaked a data breach story about Bernie to the media, calling what happened by the derogatory moniker of "conspiracy theory" flies out the door.

Let us stipulate a few things. First, the DNC, under the barely perceptible leadership of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has greased the skids for Hillary Rodham Clinton. (A debate on the Saturday night before Christmas, when half the country's on an airplane going to visit the other half? Please.) ... And, last, it's true that, if I wanted to distract from the fact that Sanders on Thursday was endorsed by the Communication Workers of America, and by Democracy For America, this also would be exactly the kind of story I would want out there. So, all your paranoid speculations are as well-founded as paranoid speculations can be.

SNIP

There was some serious dumbassery involved on the part of the Sanders campaign, and the person most responsible has been sacked, so the story's over, right? The DNC could allow the Sanders campaign access to the data again. But what admittedly sends my thoughts up a grassy knoll is how this relatively minor blip made it to The Washington Post in the first place. After all, the bungling was with the vendor, and with the DNC for hiring the vendor, so wouldn't the smart play have been to keep this whole thing in-house? Also, if this story survives through the Saturday night debate, let alone becomes an issue therein, and if the Sanders campaign is shut out from the national party data for longer than this weekend, I'm going to be very, very suspicious. Devious and clumsy are, after all, the hallmarks of the DWS era.

campaign. Given that, do you understand how the Clinton camp feels knowing their data was accessed by their opposition? If the shoe was on the other foot, the level of hysteria would be outrageous."

I'm not surprised.. I've said before I don't trust BS.
