http://trofire.com/2015/12/31/crowds-for-bernie-31000-in-iowa/Correction: In the Des Moines Register Bernie says so far he has spoken to 31,000 people in Iowa. Apparently, not in one crowd.

(50,986 posts)their best ears, and that among them were people of all ages.
Let them drive home from the rally talking about what they heard and how it affects the country they live in.
I hope many of the young people at the rally met other young people they never knew before and that plans were struck to get together to volunteer for the campaign, and afterward, enjoy each other's company over a pizza.

(94,331 posts)I'm sure that if Hillary Clinton had a large rally turnout, Sanders supporters would join her campaign for the same reason?
CorporatistNation
(2,546 posts)The Point is... Hillary is NOT getting any turnout in the exact same areas that Bernie is... Derived from that and in TOTAL Contradiction to the erroneous BS MSM publicized ad nauseum "Poll" results... The Momentum/ENTHUSIASM from the people themselves is monumental for Bernie in comparison to HillBill. That is the point.
THIS is why Hill has to bring out Bill which by my observation of video of events thus far is decidedly UNderwhelming as the people NOW understand what Bill was about much more than they did when he was in office... passing NAFTA, Ending Glass Steagal and signing the Commodities Modernization Act etc.

...to depress support for Sanders? What happens on an anymous blog has no impact on the real world, so why bother?
Bottom line, I don't care if you believe me or not. I'll keep reporting what happens. You can accept it or not.

(16,950 posts)and then pass it off as dialogue. It's not. Little to nothing of what you post matches what anyone says to you.
That's hilarious that you pass yourself off as a truth teller when little of your responses are on topic. So, no, your "truth" doesn't hurt. Your so-called truth is your problem, but it's definitely NOT definitive.
99Forever
(14,524 posts)So then you will now post a link to all of the rMoney primary rallies that had more than 30,000 in attendance. I'm waiting with bated breath.
Step right up to the plate and knock it out of the park!
Embarrass me!
I double-dog dare you.
(My guess is that you'll sling some more juvenile, pathetic attempts at insults toward me or threaten with your "angry" husband's wrath again. Fucking bring it on.)
R B Garr
(16,950 posts)So, lol. I'm sure Romney talked to 30 000 people ----over two days--------not in one crowd.
But a previous thread was locked before I could answer your little "truth" teller self-congratulations. So the comments about your contrived "truths" still stand
AGAIN, you are attacking someone for what you misread. This is a pattern you might want to work on.
And my husband still does not like internet threats, so sue him.

(14,524 posts)Like always.
Nobody threatened anyone except you. Hubby and you have that going for you.

(16,950 posts)yourself. There's another one who does this, too, so don't feel alone. But it's very obvious. And, lol, at the copying technique. You are not alone in that tactic either.
And Hillary has talked to A HUNDRED MILLION people --- several hundred million people --- over 20 years. Prove me wrong!!!
99Forever
(14,524 posts)... is in short supply at Camp Weathervane, however, using it isn't a "tactic," it's the moral, honest way to be.
I'm not at all surprised the a Hillary fan would see it like you do.
R B Garr
(16,950 posts)And back to your phony morals. And your phony self-congratulatory "truths". So far your record is far from the "truth "as you called me a liar for something you misread. You just attacked someone, but you misconstrued the article so your attack was invalid.
Most of what I've read from Bernie supporters here are how superior your morals are. Your so-called "issues" are nothing more than badgering people with how much better you are. No wonder his message is so limited. That kind of self-importance only goes so far. People have their own values and yours are no better.

Not sure why someone would write such a misleading story. As Bernie himself said on December 22, 31,000 is the total number of people who have attended Bernie events in Iowa since his campaign started.
"Since we began this campaign we have spoken to over 31,000 people in the state of Iowa," Sanders told a crowd of about 1,500 at Iowa Western Community College Tuesday evening.

Stories like the one suggesting 31,000 attended a single rally not only are misleading, they put an emphasis on crowd size that is misguided. It's the GOTV effort that matters.
Pauldg47
(640 posts).....I always new it. The biggest crowd was at Iowa State wasn't it. Iowa is to small of a state w small communities to have real large crowds like he had out west. Didn't he have a humongous crowd at Bob Jones University which was an eye raiser?
Look at this....he tells the truth...he does not lie.

(62,377 posts)But the best part of it was that the crowd was young, very young. Many parents with young children.
Most rallies I have been to recently in Iowa feature a lot of gray hair. I would say only @ 10% Tuesday.
And around here I know probably half of the folks in the crowd - at this one I knew @ 10 people.
Struck up a conversation with a college student. This was his first political event ever. By the end he was really excited and ready to call all his buddies.
