(13,869 posts)whenever some obscure regional group or individual endorses Sanders? It's because both sides realize how unbalanced the race is.
Clinton is 2 or 3 to 1 ahead, has been all along and will be until primary is wrapped up in a couple of weeks.
Yes, politicians may lie, but numbers don't.
reformist2
(9,841 posts)I hate to break it to you, but the endorsement race is just a party loyalty thing. As a measure of politician's true feelings, it's meaningless.

(12,504 posts)Kinda figured his word really isn't gold. Oops did I say that out loud. Am I about to get a hide for stating the obvious against Bernie Sanders?
djean111
(14,255 posts)The gossipy shit that has no connection with the issues is............what Bernie meant.
I don't think anyone cares enough about what you say about Bernie Sanders to want to give it a hide. It certainly does not affect anyone or anything, and you don't support him anyway. So - just the usual. Shrug.
Sheepshank
(12,504 posts)Of course comments like the one I just made, have earned hides in the past.
The jury is slanted. That's not a huge secret....and I only know of two jurors that have had jury privileges revoked because of nasty, emboldened juror comments that were clearly not fair or impartial. Guess which candidate they support.

(14,255 posts)Get over yourself, would be my advice. And I suspect that those who taunt about possibly getting alerted on or hidden are just showing off or perhaps have a bit of a martyr complex. Nothing that concerns me or bothers me, sorry!

(63 posts)I recently watched an interview segment with Rep. Alan Grayson, where he specifically said that he did not endorse Hillary Clinton for president:
In the video, Rep. Grayson explained that he accepted Hillary Clinton's invitation for the "Florida Leadership Council", but accepting the invitation was not an endorsement of Clinton for presidency.
However, several corporations, including Nate Silver's 538 (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-endorsement-primary/) listed pretty much all of the politicians that accepted the Florida Leadership Council invitation as endorsement for Hillary.
As to who is lying (Hillary's campaign staff or the news corporations) about the endorsements, I can't tell.
Just as Rep.Grayson, over 150 politicians accepted the invitation for the "Florida Leadership Council", and some others may be in the same situation as Grayson: http://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000151-128c-d914-a9f1-f7fefd660000

We're very fortunate to have someone running who is the real deal; instead of the usual sound-byte slinging, corporate owned lying tool bag.

(47,803 posts)on too many issues regarding wealth, power and public programs, the Democrats are too close to the GOP for comfort. Bill Clinton's overall economic agenda and message ("the era of Big Government is over" was straight GOP.
No no one would even be paying attention to that meme if there were no elements of truth in it.
And -- what you ignore is the fact that it is NOT only GOP spinmeisters that say that. Many peopkle on the liberal/progressive side have come to that conclusion on their own because of the actions and message of the "centrist" corporate Democrats.
I wish that "meme" were ridiculous. But unfortunately it's too often too close for comfort.
