DES MOINES, Iowa —Hillary Clinton praised the president's new gun control efforts and rallied supporters Monday night in Des Moines.

O for tougher gun laws.

“I am so proud of what the president announced today,” she said.

But she said that may not be enough.

“I'm for comprehensive background checks. I want to close the gun show loophole, the online loophole, what they call the Charleston loophole. I want to end the immunity from liability that was given to the gunmakers and sellers, the only business in America that was given that,” Clinton said.

During her third stop in Iowa Monday, Clinton amped up her usual stump speech, with promises of higher taxes for the rich, saving Obamacare and defending Planned Parenthood.
