It's time to flip the House!

Do you know how we can increase the President's margin of victory in this election? By taking this turning point in the campaign and beginning to concentrate our personal efforts on electing Democratic Representatives to Congress along with President Obama.

The big money is sure to see the same thing we're seeing: that Romney is toast and further supporting him will yield increasingly negative results. Their only hope now is to return enough Republicans to the House and Senate so that they can screw things up in Congress for another four years.

They may have all the money, but they don't have the people, the interpersonal skills, or, since we're all sitting around eating prime rib on EBT according to Mitt, the time. A great many of these Congressional races will be decided by a couple thousand or even a few hundred votes. Some of them will come right down to the wire.

Find your current Representative here:

Note the number of your district, and if you don't already have a Democratic Representative, get on google and search for "democratic challenger (your district number) district (your state)." Then see what you can do for that person. They are all going to need money and time, and you need to sell that person to your friends and everyone you know.

If you're from a safely Democratic district, consider devoting your time and effort to electing someone from a Republican district. Here's my guy, and he has a tough road ahead of him:

Eric Cantor is currently serving in Virginia's 7th District. He needs to go. His opponent is Wayne Powell:

This is an all-Democratic year, and we must encourage everyone to vote for Democrats at every level of government from national to state and local. But right now, the House is the prize.

Damned near every Republican voted this summer to block a middle class tax cut, which is going to raise the taxes on almost everyone you know by an average of $1600 next year--unless enough Democrats are elected to extend the middle class cuts and make sure the cuts for the rich die a well-deserved death.

That's your foot in the door. Now let's drive the dump truck through it!

One of my favorites is Rob Zerban, a great candidate running against some wacko named 'Paul Ryan' (maybe you've heard of him?) in Wisconsin:

Nothing would say, "go home" quite like actually sending Mr. Ryan home.

We could use this political capital to take the House now.
