Burning is what happens when a firestorm rages - like whenever Wall Street is out of control. That's when the economy burns down. But no worry: we can Bern it.

Care to elaborate? My grandmother was a pieceworker in a garment factory, so she literally did reap what she "sewed." There wasn't much left over to "bank" after providing for her 5 children, I'm sorry to say. I truly am mystified by your post and would be interested in what you mean.

Galatians Chapter 6, verse 7: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
Have I mocked God in making a joke about Sanders' campaign slogan? I actually like Sanders and would vote for him in the general election if he is the Democratic nominee. I find the "feel the Bern" slogan hackneyed and unoriginal, harking back to a 1980's workout video. It doesn't do anything for me, doesn't advance Sanders' message, and as used here at DU reminds me of an inane high school sports cheer, endlessly and mindlessly repeated ad nauseum.

Btw, I am a fellow Appalachian.

sad because all either party will put out are the centrists...regardless of their campaign Bull. it's a sad factor that the Center Left to Center Right are the majority...regardless of party...and that's who elects for the rest of us and has led us into almost full fledged Oligarchy. They all serve the money masters...except one.

But I really despise the kind of cultish attitude that some prominent posters have. There's an messianic feeling about how they post about him that's disturbing and far too reminiscent of Freeper mentality.

Jan 2016

and he is so behind Sanders. He had been talking about him and I just let him talk. He had grown so cynical that he had stopped voting no matter what I said he just stopped. My younger son always votes but this older son, well he is smart but cynical. He will be 31 soon. He and all his friends and acquaintances are so ready for this. I am actually quite stunned. He has been talking about Bernie for a while but I was waiting for him to burn out and get all cynical again but nope. Feeling the Bern is an apt saying. He and his friends are scared to death and Bernie has brought to them all the things they want to make their lives livable and they don't see a livable, good life without these changes. Now MY son is not going to go calling or door to door but he will talk and he will argue and he WILL vote for Bernie. He also WILL be involved enough to be part of the "political revolution" to insure that the most that can be done will be done. Amazed here.

I answered the OP's question. NO, I do not support Bernie Sanders in the primary. And all the condescending, arrogant, self patting on the backs and insults from YOU and other Bernie supporters in this place won't sway me to support him. If anything I would basically just vote for him in the general if he got the nomination. I am sick of all the bullshit thrown at Hillary supporters by YOU and others. I would never vote for a republican, or join some bullshit #Bernieorbust type movement. Does that answer your question?

The poster laid out his reasons to support sanders. You gave him a "no."

So, you oppose those notions? Or not?

Also, i'm sorry but Clinton supporters don't get to complain about insults or self-congratulatory attitudes. Especially not on a thread where your fellows are calling Sanders a disease.

Like I SAID, I am SICK of the double standards. Sanders supports like yourself don't hold back for a minute to go into a pro-Hillary thread and start shit.

So don't act are pure and innocent.

And please point out where I have attacked Sen. Sanders. Yeah there are asshole on BOTH sides. So get off it.

You come here explicitly to shit on a pro-Bernie tread, then complain that "Well Sanders supporters do it!" You hold me responsible for all Sanders supporters, but want me to hold you separate other Clinton supporters. You don't seem sick of double standards. You seem sick of being held to the same standard you hold to others. That's an entirely different thing.

I have no desire to insult you. I find it odd that your response to a person calling for progress is a flat "no," and that your whole thing going in is just venom against people not supporting your candidate.
