He did not believe he needed to earn anyone's votes. His assumptions were false. He had to take on my whole and total beliefs or I was not voting for him.

He did not impress me. In the legislature for years and years and done nothing about:

Climate Change
Endless War
Unlimited Political Spending By Billionaires
Wealth Disparity
Outsourcing
Lack Of Health Care For 30 Million Americans
Insane College Costs
Tax Reform Where Corporations Actually Pay Taxes

He had no plans to fix what is broken. None.
Not impressive.

Versus Sanders who talks about what is wrong, and has nothing planned to fix anything. And, he has been in a position to do just that, but chose not to.

Sanders has not one plan to make good on his promises. The vague plans he does have do not add up according to independent assessments.

If you don't know the detailed plans by this point, than you are an uninformed voter--no wonder you need someone to "impress you." Perhaps it is you that needs to up the game.

Hillary is a war hawk who got joy out of publicly crowing about killing a foreign leader

she supported an illegal coup in Honduras

she supported job killing, democracy killing, corporate and banking friendly trade deals

she stumped for Bush's illegal war

her husband was poised to team up with Gingrich to privatize SS

she vehemently declares that a medicare for all program will never ever happen

she supported the destruction of welfare

she supported mass encarceration

she takes money from every powerful entity aligned against progressive principles including foreign governments and investors

...

the list goes on and on and on

stay out of this group unless you truly support the ideas of Occupy

I will say, before i go, that I have done research on Sanders and O'Malley--their history and their ideas and after research and reading, I made an informed choice.

Regarding "publicly crowing" I have heard the same types of reactions regarding Isis / terrorist leaders who behead people, or take responsibility for killing innocent people. You are holding Clinton to a different standard. And make no mistake--he was a terrorist who killed innocent people--just like the other terrorist leaders.

of the United States President. No President should EVER crow about a death they causes, period. Death is a serious issue, not something to be laughed at.

As for Libya, it was thriving before Hillary killed it's leader. Yes, he killed innocent people, but he held the country together for the good of everyone. Libya is now a terrifying place to live, especially for women. Hillary left a power vacuum in the country and ISIS and it's ilk whooshed in. Not only is Libya no safer, the world is not safer.

Have a look at what Hillary destroyed. She is more like Bush than anyone wants to admit.

Here is how I see it. Nearly every American cheered the death of Bin Laden, and Obama is proud of his death. Your double standard is telling.

Libya was always a terrifying place to live--and of course, blaming Clinton is more of a double standard, unless you truly believe she has been running the world and the US for years.

11. It's your double standard

I didn't hear Obama laughing about the death of Bin Laden. The rest of the public 'laughing' is a red herring. I didn't see anyone laughing about it.

Did you even read the article that I linked to? No. Here is a summary of what was before Hillary.

1. In Libya a home is considered a natural human right
2. Education and medical treatment were all free
3. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project
4. It was free to start a farming business
5. A bursary was given to mothers with newborn babies ($5,000)
6. Electricity was free
7. Cheap petrol ($.14 per liter)
8. Gaddafi raised the level of education (Before 25% literate, after 87% with 25% graduate degrees)
9. Libya had It’s own state bank
10. The gold dinar (The real reason Gaddafi was killed. He wanted single African currency linked to gold. Africa could have gotten out of debt.)

Now, the people have absolutely no security, no matter what. What is more terrifying, then or now? When you have money it clouds your thinking. The poor did better in Libya than the poor do in our country.

because of the obstructionist Republican Congress.

How on earth could Bernie do anything about these issues singlehandedly? I'm sure he tried.

The Democrats in Congress had ample opportunity to make changes when they were in charge during the first two years of Obama's presidency. Did they?

Then they will get more nothing

a forceful and vociferous progressive policy platform is what is needed to beat back the Republican agenda - bipartisan "Grand Bargains" are nothing more than ceding more ground to coservatives.

I fully expect a Clinton presidency to continue the unraveling of the New Deal in favor of privatization, corporatization and financialization - if you're expecting something different you haven't been paying attention for th last 30 years
